Apollo & Houston, PA-McCutcheon Enterprises, Inc. (MEI) is pleased to announce it is the presenting sponsor of a raffle benefitting JDRF (formerly known as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). MEI will be providing JDRF with a 2014 Polaris Ranger 400 with a camouflaged wrap. The raffle winner will be determined by the Daily Lottery winner on September 27, 2014, which is the night of the JDRF Westmoreland County Walk to Cure Diabetes.

“The Polaris Ranger is a popular vehicle amongst farmers, hunters, contractors and the general public due to its versatility as a vehicle,” said Nathan McCutcheon, MEI Houston Executive Manager. “Anyone who has the need for an all-terrain utility vehicle should take a chance at this great prize,” McCutcheon continued. “This particular Ranger will be enhanced with a camouflaged wrap, making it appropriate for any use,” McCutcheon concluded.

“Researching a cure for Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) is near and dear to my family’s heart,” said Calvin McCutcheon, MEI president. “That is why I am proud to announce that 100% of the ticket sales will be donated directly to JDRF.”  “At MEI we believe in supporting causes that will make life better for people, that’s why this is another way we are ‘protecting our environment for tomorrow’s generations,’” Calvin concluded.

“Tickets are $25 each and will be available until we are sold out,” said Julia McCutcheon, MEI HR Director who has been battling T1D for over 40 years. “We’ll be selling them at both of our locations, at the Washington County Fair and outside the gates of Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, PA the night of June 20th.”

For more information about how to purchase tickets, contact MEI at either 724-568-3623 (Apollo area) or 724-745-1082 (Houston area).

“MEI has been a fantastic supporter of JDRF over the last eight years,” said Carol Yannuzzi, JDRF Western PA’s Executive Director. “We are pleased that MEI & the McCutcheon family continue to be such generous supporters of JDRF.”

“MEI is honored to be partnering with JDRF to offer this unique prize,” said Chad McCutcheon, Communications Professional at MEI. “Our Houston location is the place to find an answer to any of your equipment sale, rental or hydraulic needs,” Chad continued. “We sell and rent these vehicles to clients, and figured it was a great way to raise money for JDRF,” Chad concluded.
