Local emergency spill response contractor awarded PA Turnpike contract from Ohio line to Ft. Littleton plus the Amos K. Hutchinson Bypass, the Beaver Valley Expressway, the Mon-Fayette Expressway and the Findlay Connector

 

Apollo, PA-McCutcheon Enterprises, Inc. (MEI) is pleased to announce that it has been named the Emergency Spill Response Contractor for the PA Turnpike from the Ohio line to the Ft. Littleton exit and including the Amos K. Hutchinson Bypass, the Beaver Valley Expressway, the Mon-Fayette Express way, and the Findlay Connector.

 

MEI has been the Turnpike’s Emergency Spill Responder for approximately twenty years. The last few years, MEI has covered Section 2, from New Stanton to Ft. Littleton. MEI is pleased to be awarded this contract based off of our stellar reputation with the Turnpike over the last two decades.

Crawford County Hires Apollo, PA firm as Level A HAZMAT Response Team

 

Apollo, PA- McCutcheon Enterprises, Inc. (MEI) is pleased to announce that it is now the Level A HAZMAT Response Team for Crawford County, PA. MEI is a PA Act 165 certified HAZMAT response provider now serving 8 counties throughout Western PA.

 

“We welcome Crawford County as our newest HAZMAT response client and look forward to working with them in this venture,” said Calvin McCutcheon, MEI president. “Crawford County has been a client of our training division over the years and we are excited to provide them with this new level of service,” McCutcheon concluded.

 

Allen Clark, Director of the Crawford County Emergency Management Agency, explains it this way: “Hiring MEI will enable us to provide a tiered response to hazardous materials incidents. The response level needed is dependent upon the severity of the incident, which is determined by the fire department that is automatically dispatched. If needed, the fire department can request the Crawford County HazMat Response Team, and if the severity of the incident exceeds their capabilities, a trained Level A Team, McCutcheon Enterprises, Inc., will be requested.”

 

Clark continued, “we are excited to continue this partnership with MEI which now includes Level A HAZMAT response.  The County has worked with them in training, exercises, conferences, and other hazardous material preparedness efforts.”
