Summary:

Duties and responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
  • Works with the Fleet Resource Manager/Shop Supervisor on identifying the service needs of fleet vehicles and equipment.
  • Checks oil & all fluids of each vehicle/equipment on property.
  • Verifies each vehicle/equipment scheduled to work the next day will start.
  • Reviews all Vehicle Inspection Forms for the prior and/or current day and make any repairs that are within their capability.
  • Verifies vehicles are fueled, cleaned out, equipment is adequate and operational for next day’s schedule.
  • Inspects pumps, moisture traps, etc. and clean/repair as needed.
  • Inspects tires & brakes and informs Fleet Resource Manager/Shop Supervisor of need for repair/replacement.

Summary:

  • Develop Health and Safety Procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and corporate policies.*

As an Instructor you will evaluate course curriculum, provide and assist in instructor(s) training schedules and maintain/purchase necessary equipment and materials to ensure employees and clients are properly taught the knowledge and skills required to perform job functions safely.*

Description

With limited supervision, the Equipment dealership mechanic performs maintenance and repair of complex equipment in a safe and professional manner.

Education/Formal Training

  • High School graduate or GED
  • Unexpired PA Driver’s License or CDL

  • Able to complete an extensive training program in proper waste handling and sampling procedures, environmental laws and regulations, safety training, certification and testing, and tank cleaning; 40 Hour OSHA Training and Confined Space Entry.

  • Ability to work with little or no direct supervision and an aptitude to complete assigned work.
  • Knowledge of chemicals preferred.
Required Education, Training and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalency.
  • Construction field or related experience.
  • Will be required to complete 40 Hour OSHA Training.
  • Valid Driver’s License with the expectation of obtaining a CDL Class A or B.
Physical Requirements:
  • Position involves frequent heights and confined spaces; frequent strenuous physical exertion.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 100lbs.
  • Requires frequent walking, standing, climbing, sitting, talking, and listening.

Summary:

Performs tasks that assist the Maintenance team in the keep up of MEI buildings, grounds, and company vehicles.

Duties and responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
  • Wash exteriors and interiors of company vehicles.*
  • Clean various equipment.*
  • Clean up at the end of each day, everything returned to its proper place, supplies stocked, etc.*
  • Keep Maintenance Supervisor informed on supplies.*
  • Trash pickup – all trash in shop area, store areas, counter areas and office area.*
  • Clean and sweep shop break room area as needed.*
  • Clean and sweep restroom areas as needed, including dusting/wiping down area.*
  • Sweep front porch and around all entryways to MEI building.*
  • Refill paper towels and hand cleaner as needed.*
  • Every Friday, assigned employee will check all boxes on MEI site and drain off all water on tarps, sweep off snow if needed.*
  • Straighten shelves around shop.*
  • Daily maintenance of MEI’s building and grounds such as painting, cutting grass, shoveling snow, etc. as needed.*
  • Responsible for meeting and continue to meet all DOT mandated physical, and drug and alcohol testing requirements. *
